The ducks are happy

The creek had burst its banks in a few places yesterday and we've had a few decent downpours since then, with steady rain in between.  Good snuggling and reading weather.

    That creek looks flooded. Flooding is a mixed blessing at best.

      Yes, it is a small flood, thankfully no damage. It's usually a sleepy little stream fed by springs in the forest but a lot of the springs had dried up, so this rain is a blessing.

    John Ruskin lived for a large part of his life in The (English) Lake District. The wettest place in England is in The Lake District. When the sun shines it is heaven. When it rains it is just wet heaven.

    Looks like you've had similar rainfall to us, I think today was the first day in about a week that we had sun showers, the rest of the time it's been constant rain.
