In Tuesday's post I concentrated on the view from the ridge along Prescott Road. Today I'm looking at the fences. Despite the (what I consider) hefty price tag on the land on this side of the fence, the fences on most of the properties are our standard farm fence. The good thing about them is they don't interfere with the view.
They are the same farm fences as on the farmland on the other side of the road.
Looking north-east towards Whangarei Heads.
Straight out over the sea towards the Hen and Chicks Islands.
Going back down the hill, sometimes just one fence won't do.
Linking to Good Fences.
A variety of fences and nice views here.
ReplyDeleteHello Pauline, lovely views and wonderful series of fence shots. Have a happy day!
ReplyDeleteIt's very nice when the fence enhances the view, instead of blocking it. Beautiful.
ReplyDeleteRather surprising fences at these places but good for you to photograph. Good eye on these.

ReplyDeleteWe have a town here in Washington State (USA) named Prescott, It's nothing like this though. What lovely views you have there. My favorite of your fence shots is the last one with the double fencing.
ReplyDeleteThat last fence is really nice. You live in a beautiful place.

ReplyDeleteNow that's what I call a proper fence.
