Cow fence

I think the cows are trying to tell someone they are ready for the gate to be opened. You will be able to spot a few fences in this photo.

A fence on the farm with a view of the road into town.

I'll be linking to Theresa's Good Fences

  1. You have a big dairy herd. Is there still money in milk. In the UK it is virtually impossible to make money from dairy as milk is cheaper than water.

  2. Are they using their new super highway yet. They look great waiting for the gateman.

  4. Interesting shot of the cows. From my farm experience the cows would wait, lie down, until the gate was opened.

  5. They are a big enough group that i think if they didn't want to wait for the gate to be open, they wouldn't have to!
