The rest of a longer way home

It's over a week ago since I took the longer way home.  My hills of home come into view not long after turning off the highway west out of town.   They look the same although I'm seeing them from an entirely different angle.

I've been trying to get a shot of this old shearing shed for ages.  It's on a corner and on this day there was no other traffic so I could stop without being dangerous.

Much the same story with this old shed.  I stopped short of the corner and used the zoom.

  3. Your surroundings are lovely from whichever angle. The old shads make good photos.

  6. Kudos to your Pauline for taking the longer way home because I'm loving those mountains and that rusty iron.....isn't it magic? nothing quite like it. I needed a NZ fix. Take care over there.

  7. I have a spot in the road where the hills of home come into prominence. I can never get enough of the route and look out for particular bends and villages.

Snapping old sheds is a favourite of mine too.
