Let's do a deal

That's what she said.  "Let's do a deal.  You make me a swimming bag from that strawberry material and I will cook you lunch."

It was a good deal, we both ended up happy.

You probably can't read the menu (it is written in posh silver pen) so you probably can't see the scores I gave the food when it came time to switch from Project Runway to Master Chef.

There were three courses, I'm skipping dinner tonight.  Should have taken photos.  Next time.

The Project Runway model decided it would to best to use an action shot to showcase the bag.

  2. What a great post! I love that strawberry bag and I love that she cooked that great meal for you. You are right, I can't read the menu with my aging eyes but for me, if someone cooks for me, that means the world!!

  5. Reminds me of the deal my Sweetie had with his German professor in school. He would mow her lawn, and she offered to pay him in cash or food. He took food, as they both knew he could eat more than she could pay him! She loved it, as she was single and an amazing cook with no one to cook for most of the time. He had a fabulous multi-course German meal every other week, and her lawn stayed nicely trim.

    That bag is a winner!

  10. We should do more bartering in this increasingly expensive world. Messymimi's story shows its value and the taxman can't get you for it. I love the bag.
