There's a new book on the market here. I presume it's in the book shops, I haven't been to town since I received my complimentary copy.
And why did I receive a free copy you ask? Oh, come on, ask!
Because there on the very last page is the feature photo of the book, taken by me!!!!
Da da.
congratulations on having your photo published.
ReplyDeleteGreat news. That is your retirement fund sorted.
ReplyDeleteClever girl :) now I know someone famous! (it's a true thrill, well done!)
ReplyDeleteWhat a terrific reward for a job well done.

Congratulations and great work!
ReplyDeleteCongratulations! I'm curious though: What kind of book is iit, what is it about? Technology?
ReplyDeleteWow, that's great. Good for you.
ReplyDeleteDid you know of this book and send in your photo? This makes me wonder how this came to be!
Hello Pauline,
ReplyDeleteCongratulations on having your photo published. You know you got one of the primes spots in the book. I always look through the first couple of pages of a book then go to the back to have a look there.
Happy days.
Bev.
Thanks for the comments, everyone. I'm in for a pretty sad retirement, Adrian with a free book for payment. Don't think fame will find me, Rose while I am one of 268 credits in the book. But I agree with Bev, my image has prime position. The book is subtitled 202 New Zealand inventions that changed the world.
ReplyDeleteAnd bringing up the rear I shall add my congratulations too. Actually you have some of the best informal character face photos I've seen. You have a real talent for that.
ReplyDeleteWell done....you have been published. Someone from the National Museum asked to use one of my blog photos. I was chuffed.
ReplyDeleteWell how very cool is that? Congratulations Pauline, exciting to see a photo of yours published.
ReplyDeleteThat's fabulous Pauline!! And you were published "lucky last"!!
