Crispy days

Day after day of glorious blue skies.  Cool nights and mornings, perfect days.  A wonderful time of year.

Sure there is mud, mainly in the heavy traffic areas.

The drains are being cleared in preparation for winter deluges.

The cows have it easy, finished with that milking business for the tine being, putting their energy into growing healthy calves.

Love this time of year!  If only it could stay like this.

  1. Hello Pauline,

I do have to agree with you on this. I wish we could keep days like this to have later on in the year.

    Have a great day.
    Bev.

  2. It sounds perfect.
It is much the same here when it isn't raining.

  3. We had a lovely week at the opposite end of the year last week. (Does that make sense - I know what I mean!) Any way - the rain is now back and I can't get out into the garden. Annoying, but it will pass.

  7. I love Autumn and your photos are a treat Pauline. I adore the head on shot of that pretty cow. They have such a cute face.

  8. Some would say that if the weather were always this good, we wouldn't appreciate it, but i say that knowing how broccoli tastes has no effect on the appreciation of ice cream.
