'Old' is a state of mind Pauline. You are a long way from being old. Mind you when we get to our age there's bound to be a little bit of wear and tear.
I'm sure you'll find ways to keep busy, Pauline... And you'll find your hair keeps growing and needs cutting from time to time even after retirement! :)
Old is not a number but an attitude. I keep posting inappropriate comments on FB and joke with friends and embarrass my children who wish I would act my age.
Good analogy! We can stand the test of time as long as we have classic lines and wear basic black. I love it! I have a photo, somewhere, of my father and his brothers standing on and sitting in a car like this. It's a beauty.

ReplyDeleteHave a long and active retirement.
ReplyDeleteIt is good to see these cars still being used.
I would love that old car. Great photo!
ReplyDeleteHello Pauline,
ReplyDeleteGreat car, does it belong to the Clampett's! Enjoy your carefree days.

ReplyDeleteI wonder that old but still very good looking car wasn't there just for you as a sign...I would take it as one anyway! Happy retirement.
ReplyDeleteAge has nothing to do with style and class.

Congratulations, and welcome to the next exciting chapter in life's journey Pauline!
ReplyDeleteI think she's a darn fine model that car!
You are about to enter the best time of your life and you don't have to worry about looks.
