Lately I've got into the habit of stopping at the lookout/picnic area just south of town on my way home from work. It started when my back was sore and I needed a little stretch and walk around before facing the drive home. Now I just stop there to sit quietly and look down the harbour, every day it looks different.
On Monday I wanted to capture the different colours and textures around the picnic area.
But the first photo I took was of the tree with the yellow leaves and berries (what is it, Chris?)
However, I took the photo before checking my camera settings and look what I got:
Now I'm wishing I could remember how I did it!
Pauline right click on the image and it should say properties. Exif data will tell you what you did.
ReplyDeleteThe first picture is beautiful.
I love that first photo - the many shades of green and the textures - gorgeous. I'd stop in that place too!
ReplyDeleteI love both pictures but the second one is very unique. Hope you can figure out what you did.
ReplyDeleteI am really intrigued by your last photo. I'll explain why another time - Adrian will know. I've been through my camera's settings and I can find nothing that will replicate that effect. i like it.
ReplyDeleteI'm pretty sure it's a lilac tree Pauline. I will stop and have a closer look next time I'm passing but I seem to remember seeing it covered with those beautiful lilac flowers.
