The Day After

Life along the creek is returning to normal.
In most places the creek is back within it's banks.
The ducks are happy.

My first ever collage leaves room for improvement.
I'm usually quite happy if I know I will get better at something,
it's when I think I will never improve that I get frustrated.

Right!  Now back to playing with that collage thingy.

  1. Nice to see that the water is receding a little - I hope you're spared too much more!
Nice Collage - keep it up!

  2. Glad that the floods were not as bad as they could have been. Good luck with the collages.

  3. Wow--you really did have some rain! Does this kind of thing happen frequently or is this unusual? I think that the weather patterns everywhere seem to be odd and not the norm. Record heat in eastern US right now. Here: there are clouds building up over the Sierras and they will probably have a thunder storm tonight. I always hope there will be no fires.

  4. No, Terri we don't have frequent floods. July seems to be the worst month. We also had floods in July is 07 and 08 but none last year. NZ doesn't get to be so green without lots of rain and when you live in a valley surrounded by hills, all that water has to run down and end up somewhere! Keeps our flat land very fertile so can't complain. Hope you didn't have any fires!
