I'm not an early bird. Early morning and functioning are not things that work together for me. Therefore, I don't have any real sunrises. These three are about as close as I get to sunrise.
But a glass of wine and a sunset over the water - oh yes, I'm into that.
All the rest of the photos are taken from either my front deck or back steps. Back steps photos first:
Front deck, hope you don't get tired of that one tree and power lines that are in every shot.
This one was taken from a different spot on the farm:
Thanks, Sherri for this week's theme. Who doesn't love a sunset? I guess early birds love a sunrise too but I wouldn't know about that. I can't wait to visit others' blogs. I bet there will be some amazing shots this week.
This is a grand set. Number Two I like, but number five has it all for me, I can imagine it printed as big as the room would take, A3, A2. In my case A5. Not much room in the van.
ReplyDeleteLove those misty mornings...!
ReplyDeleteFrom the very start of my sunrise-sunset watching, i can't count how many times I said "Oh my"! I love the reflection of the sunrise and the sunset photos are getting beautiful as I scroll the mouse down. Oh oh. Thanks for sharing. I have a happy feeling...
ReplyDeleteCan I say it again?....I would kill for those views you have. I love the misty morning shot and the one with the blue sky and orangy clouds is beautiful.
ReplyDeleteLike others who have left comments, I found that second photo of the fog in the valley to have a mystical quality that is very moving. And beautifully captured.
ReplyDeleteYou are a very talented photographer.
If Steven sees those "misty morning" photos, which are stunning by the way, he will be writing poems, it what he does. =D You have beautiful sunset pictures here Pauline. Barry thinks you and Delwyn live in paradise. i believe you do. Thanks for sharing these.
ReplyDeletePauline, these are gorgeous. I love, love, love the third photo. I hope it gets chosen as one of the photos of the week. It is stunning and it has everything I love in it. You've got the beautiful white sun that looks like God shining down on you, a blue sky with a few clouds, a wonderful curvy country road that makes my eye want to follow ahead, nice buildings, trees, grass, hills......just absolutely gorgeous. It is a serene picturesque view and you captured it beautifully.
ReplyDeleteI have a friend who is attending school in New Zealand for a year.
I love that second one of the fog settling in around the trees...what a pretty shot :) The sunsets are beautiful, too. I agree with you - I'm sure sunrises are lovely, but I wouldn't know :)
ReplyDeleteHow can one ever tire of sunsets and sunrises? I agree that photos 2 and 3 are really special.
