I can just imagine it back in the day... It would have been a grand home back then. I must head out to find this one!! If you can remember the road, I'd love to know as I "collect" images of homes and sheds of yesteryear.
You are right calling it Lake Clarendon as that is what SEQ Water refers to it as. Although, it is also referred to as Lake Clarendon Dam.

I'm loving your trip photos!!Lizhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/17541748309832254889noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-768256566462414032.post-55783065577987731322014-10-07T10:11:22.888+13:002014-10-07T10:11:22.888+13:00Isn't it how memories come... Knowing that something is going to be in a certain place or around a turn in the road. I love the photos. So different than here where I live... but beautiful in it's own way.
The old homes remind me of The Thorn Birds. Big, with lots of porches and generations of families living their lives in them.
Lovely post. You can go home again... as long as you keep the memories and allow the differences. farmladyhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/10516462251842458511noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-768256566462414032.post-44729923384985587522014-10-07T10:03:25.843+13:002014-10-07T10:03:25.843+13:00I hadn't thought of that, Red. The big verandahs around a lot of old Aussie homes also add to the size.Paulinehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/15276284964859313257noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-768256566462414032.post-84801024358995893902014-10-07T06:07:54.361+13:002014-10-07T06:07:54.361+13:00The houses speak of a better time.
