I actually walked the beach alone in July - still in shorts and bare feet. loved it. The last time up to the Christ I walked around the line - up a curve or two and went right in.... wasn't the line for the elevator? I have walked from the Christ to the Chinese pagoda - but don't know its history. I never ask. my bad.<br />great photos - makes me 'saudade"GingerVhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/16501023251788210094noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-768256566462414032.post-18942393985539825992014-02-04T04:08:03.166+13:002014-02-04T04:08:03.166+13:00Whew - your post gave a sense of the energy and no...Whew - your post gave a sense of the energy and noise and - colour. It's as I imagine Rio. I'd love to visit! The beach though - I like mine deserted and a bit windy and like to see people at a distance - perhaps with a dog and a stick and going in the other direction!Pondsidehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/02407539138546412482noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-768256566462414032.post-69325335007136314612014-02-03T20:59:33.342+13:002014-02-03T20:59:33.342+13:00I am looking forward to seeing some of what you ha...I am looking forward to seeing some of what you have seen.
