    1. It's a regular occurrence around here, Diana. Every time we go to town we have to allow a few extra minutes in case there is stock on the road.

    1. Two farmers down our road have them, Paula. They are very practical especially for the farmer with young children.

    1. Thanks, Graham. The first one is over the road from my driveway with the new farm in the background. (What you can see of it!)

  5. I know that a herd like that might be a nuisance if one were late for an appointment - but I would like to see one, nonetheless!

    1. I never see them as a nuisance, Honora, they are part of life. No point in tying oneself up in knots about something that can't be changed. Plus the dogs are a delight to watch!

    1. Thanks, Liz. When it's too far to go to the beach, there's always something close to home to photograph and enjoy.

  8. Such well kept sheep! How often do they have to move them from one pasture to another?

    1. Yes, this is a good flock. How often they are moved depends on many things - how many in the flock, the size of the paddock, the weather and time of year, etc.

  9. I wonder if you'll get a letter from someone with the title of Executive Assistant Ewe to the Chief Woolly Executive Deputy Executive Qualifying Ram....

    Great photos, Pauline.
