A couple of locals

A roadside fence just up the road a bit.

The old shed is some distance from the road.  I take a photo every now and then to see how much it has deteriorated.  Soon it will disappear from the landscape.

If it weren't for Theresa's Good Fences I would not have taken a photo all week.

  2. Loving that first shot with the curve of the road and fence line. - Yes that shed seems to have seen better days but it has great character.

  4. I love the metal road Pauline.
To think when I was growing up most roads were like that!

  5. Great photo of this country, gravel road. It has both curves and hills, both rare in this part of the Midwest.

  6. A lovely area, it's sad to see buildings not being cared for.

  7. I do the same thing, Pauline.
There's an old cart in a field. It's no longer recognizable as a cart, but three years ago I snapped a photo before it collapsed, and I'm glad I did.

  9. Hi Pauline, I think its good to record this as I missed the opportunity to do so near me. Degrees of disintegration are very interesting and fun to photograph. Nice bending the road photo!
    Happy weekend!

  10. I must go through my New Zealand blog and see what sort of condition that shed was in when I photographed it.
