Spring colours

This spring seems to have been particularly abundant.  I saw kowhai trees with more flowers than I have ever seen. This one, right beside the road, is usually a bit pathetic but not this year.

Even the Chinese Toon, which hasn't exactly flourished in my garden is looking good.

I don't like spring weather, always think of spring as the worst time of year, the weather is so unpredictable (and usually miserable) but the colours this year make it a bit easier to endure.

  5. Spring is hard because what you see is not what you feel usually.

  6. Spring can be beautiful, if the weather cooperates. If it doesn't, then give me autumn!

  8. Hello Pauline,

Lovely shots of the New Zealand trees, love the little Geranium rather partial to them lately.

    Happy days.

  9. Looking out this morning at a cold, wet, gale-ridden landscape in 57 shades of grey I'm sure missing my NZ spring.

  10. Gorgeous Spring shots Pauline!
I hope the weather is kind to you.
We have had hot, humid weather for a while now. No rain to speak of but a few electrical storms. Everything is very dry and my local lake is almost empty which I have never seen before!
