FSO - Match it.

I didn't read this week's challenge properly, so have deleted my original post.  The subject was Match it!! Match a photo from your town with one of your favorite quotes. A photo....not several.

So I've chosen my favourite Maori proverb....

Turn your face to the sun and your shadow will fall behind you.

As I head away for the weekend I am taking that message with me....look to the future, leave the past behind you.

I imagine this week there will be some wonderful photos and quotes here.

  2. Whoops! I did multiple photos and quotes, too, but too late to change it I guess. I really love the quote and the photo seems to express that same joy and hope.

  8. Pauline,
That is such a great quote! A(I'm about to steal it.) And these kids really do have their shadows behind them in this photo. :)

  9. using only one photo is a challenge for me.... I did it backwards, picked the photo then searched the Internet for a saying I liked that went with how I felt at the time of taking the photo.... well got lucky. The photo of the boys is great. the young one in the middle looks like he is trying to reach forward.... so this works on many levels.
    have a great weekend.

  10. Have a great week. And a wonderful quote. Somebody told me another one about focusing on the road ahead -- "The windshield is bigger than the rear view mirror for a reason."
