Friday My Town Shoot Out - Celebrate Life

What a great topic!

I've thought and thought about this but I always come back to children. For me there is no celebration of life that can compare with a child's enjoyment of doing what they do best.

The pleasure they find (and give) when they:

run

jump

splash

dance

sing

laugh

explore

experiment

learn new things

live without fear

and never grow up

  2. Awesome! I agree - if we all continued to live like children, what a happy, wonderous world it would be! Of course, no work would get done, but we would all be happy! And in great shape! Love the trampoline pics! And the tiny dancers. They look like they are having the BEST time!

  4. I just love all the jump pictures. I had a trampoline growing up, and it was such a celebration! The exercise shot on the floor really made me laugh.

  6. Thanks, everyone for your comments.
I still use "cool" too Doreen and I've notice that the young do as well, so we are still up with the play.
Audrey, I think we all need to be reminded from time to time to stay in touch with our inner child.
Kerri, I love that shot too. Thank heavens the camera was handy!
Denise, children are grand - and grandchildren are the best! :)

  8. Glad you liked that shot, Kerry. I liked the grubby little fingers pointing to her amazing discovery, and how she's completely oblivious to the fact that she should not be sitting in my pots. And yes, I'm so lucky to live where I do.
